With our community of residents having grown considerably in recent months, we were pleased to host a networking event here at Riduna Park, to bring together our ‘business neighbours’.
This event also allowed us to share an exciting insight into the project we are initiating with Suffolk-based Community Interest Company, Greener Growth.
We’ve taken great care throughout the development of our first phases of the business park, to ensure that conservation of plants and creatures is very much a factor in the scheme. Our work with Greener Growth allows us to evidence this even further.
We will be locating the likes of insect, bird and bat boxes throughout the site, identifying spaces for calm and quiet garden-style zones, and even planting salad vegetables which can be enjoyed by residents as part of their lunch.
Joannah, from Greener Growth, explained the collaboration to a really engaged audience at our coffee morning. She detailed how the boxes are created, how companies can get involved in sponsoring, and what the longer-term ambitions are for further supporting wildlife at Riduna Park.
In fact, such was the reaction to the talk, that many of our residents were immediately signing up to participate in the scheme and to show their complete commitment to what we are aiming to deliver.
We’re so proud of the innovative way in which we’re approaching biodiversity and wildlife preservation here at Riduna, so we’ll certainly keep you posted on the progress.
If in the meantime you’d like any further information about our plans, or about how Jo and her team are spreading their magic, please do get in touch.
